In what could be a PHN first, the North Stars are tempting fate with an undefeated season!  With a record of 6 wins and 4 ties, the North Stars sit a top the league with 16pts, just 2 better than the Godfathers, who are 6-2-2 with 14 pts.  As luck would have it, the Godfathers face off against the North Stars this coming week in a batt

le to not only jump into a tie for first place and secure a lucrative playoff pairing, but be the team to take down Ashton’s North Stars’ undefeated season!

“Honestly, I didn’t even realize we were about to set the record.  I just never thought about a loss, as we don’t lose.  With a record 4 consecutive PHN Championships, all I could think about was filling up the remaining spot on my hat with some sweet embroidery love!  Undefeated will be easy, it is only the Godfathers and then the Mustangs, so we have that in the bag.  It is more about the Championship!!  HOOOO RAAAAH!” said North Stars Captain Chris Ashton in an interview with the league office after he had called in to get commemorative artwork done up for the occassion.

Vegas is already putting down 3-2 odds on the North Stars going undefeated.  Some interesting props though have been tabled yesterday.  6-1 odds that Ashton gets an elbow penalty.  4-3 odds that Ashton gets a 4 minute body checking penalty, and 1.1-1 odds that Ashton performs no less than 4 end to end rushes with no passes to his teammates.
