Championship Monday is set!
WOW!
It was a phenomenal night filled with crazy goals, wild saves, and the North Stars eating a massive sized piece of humble pie!
Toilet Bowl

All you need to know is that the Godfathers spanked the North Stars in the game, ensuring that the North Stars skated off the ice as the biggest losers of the year, earning the Toilet Bowl! Their season was FLUSHED down the bowl, having such a SHITTY end to the season. Starting off with a 10 game win streak, the powers that be in the North Stars organization was not content. Tinkering with a major trade, sending their co-captain to another team, the atmosphere in the North Stars organization was one of BETRAYAL! George Tolea, happy to go to a team that matched his god awful blue and yellow classic pants, had this to say:
“Ashton is the epitomy of a two face. One the one hand, he tells me he couldn’t of run this team without me, then the next, I get wind of a trade and its me! Pathetic. Well I have the last laugh. I am in the Championships, with the chance to hoist the trophy. Ashton gets the privilege of putting together the highlight reel of my wins! ”
Tolea also is the benefactor of his contract being released, as the loss by the North Stars voided Tolea’s option for next year.
Congrats to Chris Ashton and the North Stars in being the worst team of the PHN Winter 2016/2017 season.
CHAMPIO
NSHIP MONDAY
BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!! The Chiefs beat the might Oil! The Oil, who clearly have been the greatest organization off the ice since their inception, decided to let the Chiefs go for a Championship this year. The Oil then feasted large on the most amazing meal ever, supplied by Master Chef Eric Tordjman, who has earned 6 different Michelin stars throughout the world. The Oil are saddened that Master Chef Tordjman will be leaving the organization for the summer, but are excited that he is embarking on a culinary journey, and will return in the fall.
In the other match, it can be summed up by one statement: The Mustangs could of won in overtime, however, Turbo, when faced with the opportunity to stop Dan “I live to score against Turbo” Kuzmarov just let him shoot, simply FAILED! Th man known as THE KUZ scored the OT winner, catapulting the Bombers into the finals. Little known fact here. Bombers Captain Morgan Matthews missed the game due to a flight, however, PHN news agency discovered he moved his flight to play in his Sunday finals, telling people he did it for work reasons. Apparently the Bombers have something to prove, and whether Matthews will be welcome back in to the fold for the summer will be something to watch out for.
The Chiefs will take on the Bombers at 9:30pm in the Championship match!
Rules:
Same rules as always. 3x15min run time periods.
OT: Sudden death, 5 on 5 till someone scores.
Good luck and see you on the ice!
