COHN’s stay with Kings cut short!
It was a failed experiment, and King’s management pulled the plug on it after only a couple of weeks. The struggling Kings looking to bolster their team’s overall defense and scoring only went downhill since acquiring Cohn from the Flames.
“We thought we were getting a A rated superstar, someone who could not only help reduce our goals against, but also move the puck to our forwards to ratchet up the offence. What we got was injured goods. I am just glad Chris Ashton is the worst GM of all time, and traded a perennial superstar and proven goal scorer to our squad for an injured, washed up D”, said Brian Lavoie of the Kings.
When Ashton was told of the comments by the King’s Lavoie, he had the following to say, “Washed up? Cohn injured with a transplanted pig heart is better than JSB ever will be. Did we need him to win while he went off to Mexico on a tequila bender? Nice devotion to the team…I wish the King’s nothing but Patron dreams!”
