In an effort to ensure our goalies are safe and fair play, we are enforcing the following rule on a go forward.
If you are in the offensive zone and have possession, the referee will blow the play dead if you skate THROUGH the crease, or are IN the crease. The face-off comes outside.
2. If you are driving to the net, and in your attempt to score you run in to the goalie, you will be called for goalie interference. There is NO excuse to run in to the goalie. I don’t care if he is a foot outside his crease, it will be called. This is not the NHL and there is no reason to hit a goalie. Make your move earlier. THE ONUS IS ON YOU TO NOT HIT THE GOALIE, not the other way around.
