Godfather fired, sensitive data leak contained!

In a shocking turn of events, this weekend brought drama  never before seen at the Captain ranks!  In a twisted plot of insanity, Nick “The Godfather” Lapicirrella was caught at PHN headquarters attempting to hack into the central scouting databanks to obtain a leg up on his fellow captains in this year’s draft.  Luckily, our security experts were able to identify the changes the GF made, trying to downgrade several players in an attempt to get them under his salary cap.  Effective immediately, the Godfather has been let go of his position of Captain of the Godfathers, and has been released from the team.

In what some see as an inside job, the Godfather was attempting to use his position as a Commissioner to go around the other Captains.  What the GF didn’t plan for, was that the VP of Corruption had put in place several mechanisms to ensure that only himself could do such trickery.  It is rumoured the VP of Corruption took personal insult to this, and is flying home early from an overseas corruption meeting to deal with this in his own way.

Unfortunately, fellow Captain Jay Stevens submitted his resignation, wanting nothing to do with the GF, and wants to distance himself from such brazen attempts of cheating the system.  The PHN and The Godfather organization would like to thank Commissioner/Captain JSB for his dedication to the organization and wish him good luck in this years upcoming draft!

The league office has now taken over The Godfathers franchise, and will be appointing new management shortly.
