Mustangs put Andrew Mattiasso on the shelf for the season!

The Mustangs have officially put an end to Andrew Mattiasso’s season, as they finalize their roster for the start of the playoffs tonight.
“Andrew was a key part of the Mustang run to get into the playoffs, and it is unfortunate we have to shut him down right before we take on the Bombers in the first round. He is having two legs replaced with bionic parts, and will come back even stronger this coming season. We wish him a speedy recovery”, said Mel Marrello, Mustangs co-Captain.
In another move, the Mustangs invoked rule 36, section 2.1 of the substitute rules, and have claimed Laurent Elbaz from the Godfathers to replace the roster spot that Andrew Mattiasso had.
“So happy to be with the Mustangs again. Couldn’t stand some of the guys in the showers. Who uses sponges and loofahs in a hockey shower? Seriously?” said Elbaz who makes his return to the Mustangs who didn’t resign him this year due to a poor performance in the playoffs. 2nd time a charm? We shall see!
See you on the ice,
The Commissioners
