New Godfather Captains Quickly Named!

The PHN Commissioner’s Office would like to announce The Godfather organization has hired Dom and Joseph Barbuto, the first father and son team to be Captains of The Godfathers!

Dom and Joseph are league veterans who have waited patiently for their chance to assume a veteran leadership role in the PHN.  The Barbutos most recently came from The Oil, where they showed grit and determination and helped lead a last place team to fourth in the league.

“Dom is just that go to guy that we all rely on for the big clapper, the set up pass, and more importantly, a clutch meal after the game.  We feel that while The Oil have lost a great player and leader, we are always happy to see our alumni go out and find success.  Joseph has been an animal for us at the centre position, scoring sometimes at will, and being a great dressing room guy.  We know The Godfathers will benefit greatly from their new role, and bring back the shine and luster to an organization that was decimated at the core by corruption and selfishness.” Said the current Captain of The Oil Morgan Matthews when asked for his comment while overseas in China on a scouting mission.

“Whatever, you think I trust that guy with anything?  If he thinks he can lead The Godfathers to a better than second last place finish, GOOD LUCK!”, said a clearly angry and agitated Godfather when reached for comment from his off-season home in Sicily.

We are looking forward to seeing Dom and Joseph this coming Monday, as they enter the draft for the first time as Captains!!!
