Oilers trade faltering D-man, Bombers load up for the win!!

It was a coming out party for the Bombers last night! Mid-season shuffles, including sending players on assignment had a new look line-up ready to take on The Oil.

Before the game, The Oil made the move of trading Morgan Matthews to the Bombers for a practice puck.  It was thought that the Bombers were going to have to pony up some water bottles as well, but a failed physical negated that part of the deal.  Also, the Bombers were quick to add young up and comer Nigel Siu to the lineup, who had an immediate impact.  The Bombers aren’t done yet, and are right now in negotiations with some overseas talent who are unhappy with their current teams.

Net result, Bombers pulled out a huge W against The Oil.  In a show of sportsmanship, new Team Captain Matthews not only provided a massive feast for the winning team, but invited The Oil over for a team party.  The Oil and the Bombers got fat together, but will such close ties last, as the race for the playoffs intensify!
