PLAYOFF SPARE POLICY!!!!

IMPORTANT!!!

Here is the official spare policy for the PHN Winter 2013-2014 Playoffs:

A team is eligible for a player spare if the following conditions, and ONLY if the following conditions are met:

1. The team has 7 or less roster skaters available for the game

2. The spare request is received by the Commissioners (email commissioners@prohockeynetwork.com) by 12:00 noon on the day of the game.  Any requests AFTER this time are not required to be dealt with, and is left up to the discretion of the Commissioners.  Please make sure you know the attendance of your team ahead of time for the playoffs.

3. The spare must be rated C or lower.  There is absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS.  The point of having a spare is to simply allow the game to proceed as fairly as possible, NOT to improve your team, nor replace any talent that is missing.  ALL SPARES must be approved by 3 Commissioners.

4.  You may only spare UP TO 8 skaters.  You must have 5 roster skaters or you default the game.

5.  Once a spare starts the game, no roster player may show up late and join the team if it puts the team over 8 skaters.  The spare MUST play the full game, and now more than 8 skaters are allowed on the team.  You must make the decision whether to start the game with the spare or not, so you must know if a roster player is coming to show up late or not.
