- If the series is tied in points at the end of regulation, we move to OT! 3on3 for 5 minutes running time, sudden death. If no goal is scored, then we go to a 3 player shootout. Any 3 players may shoot. If no winner emerges from that, we go to single shooters. No player may shoot again unless every player has shot once.
Semi-finals
The three winners will advance to the semifinals, with the wild card winner.
The wild card winner will be the team that lost that has:
- Most points
- Least GA
- Lowest PIMS
- Highest finish in the regular season
The highest seed that advances from the three series winner (wild card winner, even if the highest seed, does not count) decides who they want to play in the semifinals. This must be communicated to the Commissioners Office by the Wednesday at 5:00pm, or the Commissioners Office will set the schedule.
The games are a 1 game semifinal, and if tied at the end of regulation, then the same OT rules as the first round applies.
TOILET BOWL
The two teams that don’t advance to the semifinals will play for the TOILET BOWL, with the losing team winning it! Same OT rules apply as the first round.
