Regular Season Tie-Breakers!

As tonight is our last night of the regular season, I bring forth the controversy known as the TIE-BREAKER.  Yes, I will hear 14 different views on why this isn’t the best tie-breaker, why your idea is more fair (to your team….), and quite frankly, I am open to listening to all of them, but will care less!

 

REGULAR SEASON TIE-BREAKERS

1. Pts

2. Wins

3. H2H regular season (ONLY IF the tie is between 2 teams, if a 3-way or more, this tie-breaker is NOT USED)

4. Least PIMS

5. Bribe the VP of Corruption

What we know for sure:

1. Congrats to the Kings who finish first place!!!  Well done boys, great job!

2. Congrats to the Flames who are the odds on favourite for winning the TOILET BOWL CHAMPIONSHIP with a last place regular season finish!

3. The North Stars the MOST PENALIZED TEAM by a long shot… pretty sad boys.  Clean up your act ASHTON.

4.  If the Canucks and the Capitals tie in points, they tie in wins, and the H2H is tied at 2 games a piece, so right now the Canucks have an edge in PIMS 66 to 74.

5. If the Oilers and North Stars tie in points, they tie in wins, and the H2H is in favour of Oilers, (2-1-1).

Should be a good slate of games tonight kids!
