The PHN draft results are now fully released! Have a look through the other posts to see the trades that went on, and see who got drafted to what team!
Rookie Captain’s the Barbuto’s looked to dip into the well of the known Oil, only to make some trades bad. However, in a sign of respect, Barbuto drafted back The Godfather to rejoin The Godfather’s!!
The Oil drafted first and went after Mustang centre Ron Stevens who is fresh off of a championship, but quickly dealt him away in a deal for Jay Stevens. The Oil were also quick to draft Peter Tsang, their VP of Food, which some say is actually the MOST important position within The Oil’s ranks. The Chiefs and Bombers proved to provide the most action of the night, with a 10 player swap that completely changed the landscape of both organizations instantly. The North Stars went after some known entities, and also went new bringing in rookies Elakash and Chatel. The Mustangs, in the most boring of all draft sagas, tried to reassemble their Championship team (after all, you can’t really blame them!) with some crafty drafting strategies by Mel Marrello, who joined the draft live via Skype from North Carolina, where he was there still partying from winning the PHN Championship this past winter.
Socks and jerseys will be ready to go, and must be worn or you get a 2 min penalty that will count toward your PIMS!
