TRADED!! Kings and Flames swap Defense!
There you have it. Just as the holidays approach, and everyone gets ready to head back home to their families and friends, the Kings and the Flames throw a wrench in the holiday plans for two players.
The Flames, after having a heavy salary load and excessive defense, unloaded a huge contract in Jason Cohn to the Kings, who had plenty of salary cap room. Going the other way, is Rob Hansel, who is no stranger to the cold winters where the Flames play.
“Amazing. Look, La La Land was great and all, but you can only party so much before you forget the reason you are here, and that is to play hockey!” said a Rob Hansel as he was walking out of the rink after being told by upper management of the trade.
“Wooooo hooooo! Finally! Why in the world would I want to stay on that disaster of a team when I can party like a rock star and live the life of a KING! I can’t wait!” said Cohn after caught high fiving Flames arena staff as he packed his bags to catch a charter flight out for tonights game.
See the players on their new teams tonight!
See you on the ice,
The Commissioners
