TRADED!

Wow, the season didn’t even start, and already we have a goaltending swap, and one player traded under threat of the Godfather’s wrath! The Kings and Oilers swap goalies, with Benny “Cool as a Cucumber” Wang going to the Kings, with Daniel “My Comeback is yet to happen” Levesque going the other way.  No team official was available for comment, however, Levesque was seen returning his newly bought pads that were custom in Kings colours cursing.

The Oilers weren’t done, and moved Al Bruno to the Canucks for a player to be named later.  If Bruno takes the Canucks to the semi-finals this year, the Oilers will get a 2-4 back. While these trades were unexpected, what isn’t unexpected will be the flurry of trades that will happen by the trading deadline later this summer. See you on the ice, The Commissioners
